Move-In Information
New Tenant Move-In Checklist
After your application has been approved by the owner, your property manager or leasing agent will prepare an electronic lease for your review & signature. Prior to move-in, you will need to complete the following:
Sign & Return the lease packet
Turn on all required utilities for your home
Meet the leasing agent with all required certified funds for move-in
Send us a copy of your renter's insurance
After your leasing agent has received your move-in funds, you will be scheduled for a move-in walk-through & given the keys to your new home. Walk-throughs are typically done on the day that you move in to cover payment options, renter's insurance, maintenance requests, etc...
WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR A LEASE?
All applicants must be approved by the property owner, but generally, here are the minimum qualifications:
Earn 3x the rent in income
Funds available for move-in (typically 2.5x the rent)
No recent criminal history
No recent Evictions or Judgments
Minimum credit score (varies per property)
No more than two people per bedroom
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO MOVE INTO A RENTAL HOME?
Typically one month's rent plus deposit, but the total move-in amount varies from house to house.
WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?
It is possible to be in your new home the same day the application process is completed. Requirements for move in include: completed applications for all residents, credit & criminal background check, tenant application is approved, the lease agreement is signed and executed, and required payments (deposit and rent) are collected.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS IN YOUR LEASED PROPERTIES?
Yes, many of our rental properties do allow pets, however, the pet policy can vary from property to property. Some of the property owners also require an additional pet deposit to be collected before move-in.
